It is interesting that we seem to think we practice the golden rule to others better than others practice it toward us. Every one of those things have happened to me more than once, but I am
happy to still be able to say that they are relatively rare. Usually people express some kind of appreciation. Unfortunately, I get lost in
never never land, I know I have been unappreciative of more people, than people have been of me. That thought helps to put things into perspective better for me. I admit that I am too easily irritated when people
don't do unto me as I assume self-righteously (and wrongly) that I do unto them.

I live in China and the behavior your mention is the rule, not the exception. In fact, when people do things like say "thank you" or hold a door open, I am surprised/stunned/shocked. Politeness and rudeness can be cultural issues but I do think it boils down to the line you wrote: "She was stuck in her own little world .."
No one else exists....or rather I should say, no one else who matters exists.
Politeness means acknowledging the value of another person.

Same here. The passing of morals and proper behavior goes a long way. And it is up to us to ensure that it never dies.

Stem cells in an organism of the adult person are developed by a bone brain. It is their basic source, but it is far not the unique. Also stem cells are found out and in a fatty fabric, a skin, muscles, a liver, lungs, an eye retina, practically in all bodies and organism fabrics. They provide restoration of the damaged sites of bodies and fabrics.

Letting the pedestrian cross then them taking their time is the worse. I always let people cross when I am driving, and it drives me crazy when they take their time to cross and fail to even waive. Something that is new for me too, is when I am pushing my child in her stroller on the right side of the sidewalk. A large group will come walking towards us, and not move even though they are taking up the whole sidewalk.

It's frustrating and true. However, instead of us worrying about how other people react I feel like we can definitely take hold of our actions. I think it's the little things that count in life. If someone held the door for me like that, I would have the biggest smile on my face and send so much thanks your way! So kudos to you! It's nice to do things like that. Karma's a bitch anyway, right?
