This afternoon, 5 inches of fresh snow and a few free hours turned into a walk around Henry David Thoreau’s old playground, Walden Pond. Even though the sun wasn’t able to break through as expected, the lack of wind and the fresh snow made it a great day for a walk around the pond with the camera. Here are a few pictures I took as I walked with the snowshoers and cross-country skiers enjoying the day, clearing my head, and pondering what it felt like to be Mr. Thoreau.
Enjoy.
